The bulk action function is used when you want to perform an action on multiple Subscribers at once.

For Example: You want to unsubscribe all the Subscribers in a Segment. Instead of unsubscribing each Subscriber individually, you can filter by the Segment they are in and use a bulk action to unsubscribe all the Subscribers at once.

Below are the bulk actions available on the Audience > Subscribers page:

  • Update Segments: When you click Update Segments, you can add or remove the selected Subscribers from a Manual Segment using one of the following options:

    • Add to segments

    • Remove from segments

  • Set Privacy: When you click Set Privacy, you can change the privacy level of the selected Subscribers to one of the following options:

    • Personalize my experience

    • Personalize my experience but do not learn about me

    • Personalize my experience but do not report on my activity

    • Do not personalize my experience

  • Set Opt-In Status: When you click Set Opt-In Status, you can change the opt-in status of the selected Subscribers to one of the following options:

    • Email Blasts and News Digest

    • News Digest Only

    • Email Blasts Only

    • Unsubscribe

To use the bulk action function, follow the steps below:

  1. Check the box to the left of each Subscriber's name that you want to select.

  2. Once you select your Subscribers, the bulk action options will appear at the top of the page.

  3. Click the bulk action button for the action you want to perform: Update Segments, Set Privacy, or Set Opt-In Status.

  4. Choose the bulk action from the button's drop-down list.

  5. You will then see a pop-up modal that allows you to complete and confirm the action.

If you would like to select all the Subscribers on the page for a bulk action, click the box to the left of Name (located above your Subscribers).

  • Please Note: This will ONLY select the Subscribers present on the page (default 100). It will not select any Subscribers on other pages. If you would like to change the number of Subscribers shown on your screen, scroll to the bottom of the page and alter the Rows per page using the drop-down.
