A Subscriber’s privacy relates to how much data we collect on them.

An ideal Subscriber experience involves our A.I. tailoring specific Content to Subscribers based on the preferences they set, their interests, and their habits. Our A.I. will also take the data collected on your Subscriber's habits and report them as Insights in your Instance.

Below you will see the four privacy options, how to view Subscriber privacy settings, and how to change a Subscriber's privacy settings.

Subscriber Privacy Options

You have four privacy options to choose from:

  1. Personalize my experience

  2. Personalize my experience by do not learn about me

  3. Personalize my experience but do not report on my activity

  4. Do not personalize my experience.

Personalize my experience:

This setting is default and it is the recommended setting because the Subscriber will get the ideal Cerkl experience by receiving personalized Content.

Personalize my experience but do not learn about me:

The Subscriber's activity will still be counted as metrics inside of insights BUT their behavior will not add weight to interest in any Categories.

Personalize my experience but do not report on my activity:

The Subscriber's experience will be personalized (including changes in Category weight based on behaviors) BUT none of their activity will be counted towards the metrics reported inside Insights.

Do not personalize my experience:

We DO NOT recommend this option. Selecting this option might result in the Subscriber possibly receiving the same Content over and over again, along with not receiving a personalized experience.
