A Subscriber’s Privacy relates to how much data we collect on them. An ideal Subscriber experience involves Cerkl’s A.I. tailoring specific content to them based on the preferences they set, and their interests and habits. Our A.I. will also take the data they collect on your Subscriber's habits and report them as insights in your Cerkl.

You can view your subscribers current privacy setting by going to Audience > Subscribers > search or filter for the Subscribers you are looking for > look at the Privacy column on the right side of a Subscribers row. Here you will see the current setting for the Subscriber.

You can access the Subscriber's privacy settings by going to Audience > Subscribers> search or filter for the Subscriber(s) you are looking for > select the box next to their name > click the Set Privacy button.

You have three privacy options to choose from: Personalize my experience, Personalize my experience but do not report on my activity, and Do not personalize my experience.

Selecting Personalize my experience gives the subscriber an ideal Cerkl experience.

This is the ideal setting where people will receive personalized content and is the default.

With this option you still give the Subscriber the same experience described above, but none of their activity will be counted towards the metrics reported which can be found in insights.

We DO NOT recommend this option. Selecting this option might result in the subscriber possibly receiving the same stories over and over again, along with not receiving a personalized experience.
