Going through the personalization process is an important step to personalizing the experience each Subscribers is receiving. The personalization process allows Subscribers to select their explicit interests in Content Categories. Selecting these explicit Category interests helps our AI deliver relevant Content to each Subscriber in their News Digest, based on the Categories tagged to each eligible piece of Content in your Broadcast Instance.

For any Subscribers who have not personalized yet, below are three ways your Subscribers can go through the personalization process.

1. Resend the Welcome Email

The first and easiest way to get your Subscribers to personalize is by resending the Welcome Email, which will prompt them to go through the personalization process. You can resend the Welcome Email to all of your Subscribers who have not gone through the personalization process by going to Audience > Controls > click the Resend to Non-Personalized Subscribers button.

2. Links inside Your News Digest

The second way your Subscribers can go through the personalization process is by clicking on the “Personalize this email…” link, which could be located in two areas inside of your News Digest:

  1. In the footer your News Digests (shown above).

  2. In the middle of your News Digest as a promotion.

3. Set Your Preferences on the Content Archive Page

The third way for your Subscribers to go through the personalization process is by going to the Content Archive. Subscribers can access the Content Archive page by clicking the "Everything archived here" link in the footer of their News Digest.

Once on this page, Subscribers can click their name (located in the upper right hand corner of the screen). Once they do this, a drop-down list will appear, and they can click My Preferences to go through the personalization process.
