Going through the personalization process is an important piece of Subscribers receiving a personalized experience because that is where Subscribers will select their explicit interest in story categories which has an impact on which stories are placed inside of their Newsletter.
For any Subscribers who have not personalized yet, there are three things they can do to go through the personalization process.
To ensure that your Subscribers are receiving relevant content we recommend that they go through the Personalization Process to set their explicit Category Interests which will help our AI deliver relevant Stories tagged with those selected Categories.
1) Resend the Welcome Email
The first and easiest way to get your Subscribers to personalize is by resending them the Welcome Email which will prompt them to go through the Personalization Process. You can resend the Welcome Email to all of your Subscribers who have not gone through the Personalization Process by going to Audience > Controls > click the green button to resend the Welcome Email to all Non-Personalized Subscribers.
2) "Personalize your news..." links inside of your Newsletter
The second way your Subscribers can go through the Personalization Process is by clicking on the “Personalize your news…” link which can be located in two areas inside of your Newsletter.
- In the middle of your Newsletter as a promotion
- At the bottom of your Newsletter in the foot with the link that is highlighted above
3) Set your preferences on the Content Archive
The third way for your Subscribers to go through the Personalization Process is to go to the Content Archive (which they can access by clicking the link at the bottom of their Newsletter). Once at the Content Archive your Subscribers will click on the “My Preferences” button on the right side of the screen, and will be able to move through the process.
