Schedule or Send, Blast Editor, Send Now, Scheduling a Blast, Send Date

Once you finish creating your Blast with Elements and filling out both the Sending Info and Audience sections, it’s time to send your Blast.

When you are filling out the Schedule or Send section, you can choose whether you want to schedule your Blast to send on a specific date, or you can choose to send it right then and there.

Scheduled Send

To schedule your Blast to be sent, open the Blast Editor > click the Schedule or Send tab on the right side of the screen > select the date and time you want your Blast to be sent.

Important Days will be noted in yellow on the calendar. If you select a date that falls on an Important Day, you will see a callout detailing the Important Day Name, Date, and Message for that day.

By default, your Blast will be sent according to the time zone your computer is in when you schedule the Blast. To send your Blast according to a different time zone, select Set Custom > choose a time zone from the menu > click Update.

If there is a Custom Time Zone set and you want to go back to the default, you can click on the option Use Browser Time Zone in the edit modal.

Once you set the date and time, click Schedule Blast.

After you click Schedule Blast, you will see a pop-up confirmation modal with your Blast's Sending and Audience info, including the number of Subscribers that this Blast will be sent to, based on the current Target Audience. (This number may change by the Blast's scheduled send date).

Clicking Yes, Schedule Blast will save the Blast and send it on the specified scheduled date and time. If you would like to go back and edit the Scheduled Blast before the send date, please review Blasts - Scheduled.

Send Now

If you would like to send your Blast to your Subscribers once you finish editing, click the Schedule or Send tab on the right side of the screen > click Send Now.

Once you click Send Now, you will see a pop-up confirmation modal with your Blast's Sending and Audience info, including the number of Subscribers that this Blast will be sent to based on the Target Audience.

Clicking Yes, Send Now will begin the Blast sending process.

Your Blast will send within 10 minutes, so if you do not receive it right away, that's okay! The factors below add up to the 10-minute maximum for your Blast to move to the Sent tab from the moment you hit Send Now:

  • It takes up to five minutes to start sending once you click Send Now.

  • When the Blast starts sending, 25,000 Blasts will be sent per minute.

  • Even if your Blasts take less than five minutes to send to all the recipients, it may take an additional five minutes for the Blast to move to the Sent tab. Note: This move will also require a page refresh.
