Configuring Your Mobile App Settings

Mobile Settings, Mobile Branding, Push Notifications, Mobile App

Now that you’ve decided to implement the Cerkl Broadcast Mobile App, it’s time for your to configure your settings and set up branding.

To update your Mobile App configuration, you must be viewing Cerkl Broadcast on a desktop. Once you are logged into Broadcast on a webpage, go to Settings > Mobile.

📝 Reminder: Click Save in the top right corner of your screen to save changes.


Icon Image

This icon will show up in various places inside the Mobile App. Click the Upload Image button OR click the existing image to select and upload a new image from your desktop.

  • Best Image Size: 200 x 200 pixels

  • Max File Size: 100KB

  • Accepted File Types: PNG, JPG, GIF

Branding Color

This color will be used across all touchpoints of your Mobile App. It will help to represent your brand. Click the circle below Branding Color to choose a new color. Here you will be able to enter a hex code or select any color from the color pallet.


Email-less Authentication

This setting toggle will allow you to enable/disable the ability for subscribers to log in without the need for a Magic Link or Magic Code using an Email Address, and instead sign in using your Workspace Name, their Unique ID, and any optional security questions.

For organizations that have Email-less Subscribers, this toggle must be enabled for Mobile only access. For more information, please review: Email-less Subscribers Overview

Workspace Name

Give your instance a unique Workspace Name. This should be something easy to share and remember, as Email-less Subscribers will need to enter this at the time of sign in on the Broadcast Mobile App.

Spaces are not allowed, however, you can use underscores or dashes. If the name entered is already taken by another instance, you'll receive an error at the time you've selected to Save your settings.

Security Questions

Security questions are optional, but provide another layer of security for your organization to prevent outsiders from gaining access.

You can add up to 3 Security Questions which will utilize your organization's attribute data to generate answers at the time of sign in. For more information about configuring Security Questions and Answers, please review: Security Questions for the Broadcast Mobile App


Enable Push Notifications

When toggled ON, you as an admin will have the option to set the date and time for push notification to be sent out to Subscribers that use the Mobile App.

Show Directory

The Directory page inside the Cerkl Broadcast Mobile App contains a list of names and emails subscribed to your Broadcast Instance. The names listed are dependent on Subscriber Attributes that have been added to your Instance via the subscriber upload process or via the API.

Contact Us

Toggling Show Contact Us ON will allow Subscribers to contact your organization from within the App (with thoughts, questions, concerns, etc.).

If this is toggle this ON, an email address is required. This is the email that will receive the Contact Us emails. When updating this email address, a confirmation will be sent to that email address.

Custom Links

Add custom links to allow Subscribers to access different webpages from inside the Mobile App.
