After installing the Broadcast Mobile app to your smartphone, it's time to sign in. There a few ways to sign in, depending on your organization's configuration and your access to a device where email is available.

For users with access to email, Magic Link and Magic Code are the best options to authentication. For users without access to an email address at the time of log in, Email-less Authentication is recommended. Review below for additional details and requirements for each authentication type.

Magic Link Authentication

To use Magic Link Authentication, you'll need to access your subscribed email inbox on the device you're signing in with. When signing in with your Email Address, if the next screen shows 'Check your email!', your organization has chosen Magic Link Authentication for sign in and should have employee email access enabled for your device.

Follow the steps below to log in to your account using the Magic Link after opening the Broadcast Mobile app:

  1. Enter your subscribed email address.

  2. Click Send to send a "magic link" to the email that you entered. You then have two ways to get to your email to access the magic link:

    1. Minimize the Broadcast Mobile App and open your email app on your mobile device.

    2. Click Launch Email App on the bottom of your screen.

Note: If you have multiple email apps, the correct app may not be opened. If that is the case, please refer to step "a."

  3. Go to your email inbox and look for a new email with the subject line: “The Cerkl Broadcast magic link you requested,” click the button that says Tap Me. You will be redirected to the Cerkl Broadcast App (see screenshot below to see what the email looks like).

Finally, select the organization instance you which to view, and click Let's Go to get started.

Magic Code Authentication

To use Magic Code Authentication, you'll need to be able to access your subscribed email inbox from any device. When signing in with your Email Address, if the next screen shows a request for a 'Magic Code', your organization has chosen Magic Code Authentication for sign in.

Follow the steps below to log in to your account using the Magic Code after opening the Broadcast Mobile app:

  1. Enter your subscribed email address.

  2. Click Send to received a “Magic Code” to the email that you entered.

  3. Go to your email inbox and look for a new email with the subject line: “The Cerkl Broadcast magic code you requested”. In the email you will receive your eight-digit Magic Code inside of the body.

If you did not receive this email after 15 minutes, you can resend using the “Resend” link below the Magic Code field.

  4. Enter your eight-digit Magic Code into the space provided on the Cerkl Broadcast Mobile App. This code is only valid for 15 minutes after the request is made.

⚠️ Important: You only have 3 attempts to enter the correct Magic Code for each login attempt. If you do not enter the correct code in the first 3 attempts, you will be locked from trying again for 24 hours.

Finally, select the organization instance you which to view, and click Let's Go to get started.

Email-less Authentication

If you are a Mobile only user or without ready access to an email inbox, your organization may have enabled Email-less Authentication. To sign in without an email address, you'll need a few details:

Your Organization's Workspace Name

Your Unique ID

Answers to your Security Questions (optional)

Follow the steps below to log in to your account using Email-less Authentication after opening the Broadcast Mobile app:

  1. At the bottom of the Login Page, tap Login with Workspace Name.

  2. Enter your Workspace Name and Unique ID.

⚠️ Important: You only have 3 attempts to enter the correct Workspace Name and Unique ID. If you do not enter the correct information in the first 3 attempts, you will be locked from trying again for 24 hours.

If you're not sure of these details, please contact your organization's communications administrators to verify.

If Security Questions are enabled, answer the security questions which match the information provided by your organization.

⚠️ Important: You only have 2 attempts to enter the correct answer for each security question. If you do not enter the correct information in the first 2 attempts, you will be locked from trying again for 24 hours.

If you're not sure of these details, please contact your organization's communications administrators to verify.
