You learned how to create a Blast—Now let’s complete your technical setup to reach subscribers’ inboxes and measure engagement.

But first, don’t miss this video. We walk you through the steps and explain why they’re so important to your success.

1. Generate CNAME records

You’ll give these to your IT team to help verify that Broadcast is authorized to send on your behalf. Your account is limited to sending 1,000 emails per day until your CNAME records are verified.

2. Send CNAME records to your IT team

Your IT team can apply these records to your DNS so Broadcast is allowed to send on your behalf. We created an email template to help you share the details.

3. Verify CNAME records

After your IT team adds the CNAME records to your organization’s DNS, verify them in Broadcast: Settings > Configurations > Security.

4. Send IP addresses and image domains to IT

Copy these details from Settings > Configurations > Security, and send to your IT team.

5. Configure auto-image downloads

Images help you communicate effectively and measure performance, so make sure they’re seen. Check this off when your IT team adds our domains to your allow list.

6. Allow-list Broadcast IPs

Don’t end up in the dreaded spam folder. Check this off when your IT team adds our IPs to your allow list.

7. Send a Sample

Send yourself a Blast, and see Broadcast in action.

8. Send a Real Blast

Design and send a real message for your team. You’ve got this.

9. Try Insights

You did the work. Now kick back and watch as opens start rolling in. You can view Quick Insights or in-depth Insights.

Done and delivered! ✅
