The information in this article covers information on the different ways to create a Blast. For information on building Blasts with Elements, please review: How to Use Blast Elements and Introduction to Blast Elements.
There are four ways to get started creating Blasts. Depending on Team Member permissions or team processes, all or some of these options may be available.

Create New
To create a Blast from scratch, go to Blasts > Create New (located in the left-hand menu and the top right-hand corner of your screen).
Once you click Create New, the Blast Editor will open and you will have a blank slate to create your Blast. Get started by adding Blast Elements from the Elements panel, or selecting a Template.
Create from Blast Templates
Blast Templates are designed to be used as a starting point for a Blast. They maintain the layout, content, and email settings of the template.
When working from a template, they provide the flexibility to add and remove elements, change text, styles, and update email settings.
Your team may already have pre-made Blast Templates ready to use. Anyone with Create Blasts or Create From Templates permissions has access to all templates in the Blasts > Templates tab.
Go to Blasts > Templates.
Scroll through the My Templates, Shared with Me, Global, and All tabs to find the template you would like to use. You can also use the sort, filter, or search capabilities to find a template.
โ
โMy Templates will only list Templates you have created.
โShared with Me lists restricted templates that you have access to.
โGlobal lists templates that are available to your entire team.
โAll will list a combination of the above sections.Hover your cursor over the template you want to use.
Click the Create with Template button.
โThe Blast editor will open with the Template where you can edit, save a draft, send the Blast, etc.
For Team Members with full Create Blast permissions, you can also select recently used Templates at the start of the Create New Blast flow.
Note: The Email Settings from the Blast Template will be used by default. For information about these settings and how to update them, please review: Email Settings Inside Blast Editor.
Duplicate a Blast
You can copy both drafted Blasts and previously sent Blasts. To do so, follow the steps below:
Go to Blasts > Drafts or Blasts > Sent.
Search or sort for the Blast you want to copy.
Click the โฎ ellipsis menu button.
Click Duplicate Blast.
Once you copy the Blast, the duplicated version will open in Blast Editor where you can edit, save a draft, send the Blast, etc.
Note: The Email Settings from the original Blast will be used by default. For information about these settings and how to update them, please review: Email Settings Inside Blast Editor.
Upload HTML
To create a Blast using already created HTML, go to Blasts > Create New, then click the Upload HTML button (located in the bottom right corner of the Blast Editor window).
The option to Upload HTML will not be available after Blast Elements have been added.
Please note: HTML uploaded Blasts offer flexibility, but have several restrictions. You will not be able to use any Elements to edit your Blast inside the Blast Editor, and Autosave is not available.
While you may be able to import a larger file, sending only supports files up to 80 KB.
For a review of the requirements and restrictions, please review: Best Practices for Blast HTML Uploads.
