Insights - Blast Metrics

The Blasts Metrics table helps you review and compare sent Blast performance in one place. From this table, you can view key delivery and engagement metrics, open a specific Blast for more detailed insights, search by Blast details, apply filters, sort results, export visible columns, and customize your default table view.

Data Columns

The Blast Metrics Table's first row is a Summary Row, providing either a sum of the columns beneath, or an average (rate %) based on the Deliver/Open/Click totals.

By Default, the following columns are included on this table:

Details Included

Blast

Locked. Sticky Column

The name of the Blast, Send Date & Time, and a thumbnail preview image.

Click the name or thumbnail image of the Blast to dive deeper and view specific Blast Metrics. For more information, please review: Insights - Specific Blast Metrics.

Delivered

The number of Blast sends reported as Delivered.

Unique Opens

The number of audience members who opened the Blast at least once.

For example, if an audience member opens a Blast 5 times, the Unique Opens will only be 1.

Unique Clicks

The number of audience members who clicked on any given link in a Blast. This only counts one click per audience member.

For example, if an audience member clicks 5 links in a Blast, the Unique Clicks will only be 1.

Open Rate

Percentage of Audience Members who opened the Blasts/Digests they received.

For example, if 2,000 people are delivered the Blast, and 1,800 of them opened it. The Blasts’ Open Rate is 90%.

Click-Thru Rate

The percentage of delivered Blasts that registered at least 1 click.

This is calculated by (Unique Clicks / Delivered) * 100.

For example, if 2,000 Audience Members received my Blast, and 300 of them clicked on at least one link within it. My Blast Click-Thru Rate would be 15%.

Blast Creator

The name of the team member who created, duplicated, or from template created the Blast.

Blast Metrics Table Actions

Add and Remove Columns

With the Edit Table button, you can easily add or remove these and additional Data columns. For more information, please review: Customize Your Blast Insights Table Columns.

Search

You can search by Blast Name or Subject Line.

Filter

Date Filter

The Date Filter is based on when subscriber engagement occurred. Most reporting data is available for up to 18 months from the current date.

+Filter

Regardless of the columns enabled on your table, these are the +Filter options you will see:

  • Targeted Segments: Segments used for targeting within Blast audiences.

  • Campaigns: Campaigns assigned to Blasts.

  • Sender Profile: When enabled, the Sender Profiles used when sending Blasts.

  • Send From: The name of the sender used when sending Blasts.

  • Bast Creator: The creator of sent Blasts.

  • Targeted Categories: Categories/interests used for targeting within Blast audiences.

Sort

When enabled on the table, all of the following columns are sortable: Blast (Send Date/Time), Delivered, Unique Opens, Unique Clicks, Open Rate, Click-Thru Rate, Blast Creator, Sender Profile, Total Opens, Total Clicks, Send From, Translation, Time Zone, Bounces, Spam Reports

Export

You can export all displayed columns on your table.
