Customize Your Blast Insights Table Columns

With Insights in Broadcast, you can customize the columns displayed in your data metrics tables to focus on the metrics that matter most to you. Below are details on how to update your table columns and a complete overview of the available column options, helping you create a view that best supports your reporting and analysis needs.

Edit Data Columns

Clicking the Edit Table button at the top right of the Insights table will bring up the Edit Table menu. This menu allows you to add and remove different data columns, and reorder them from top to bottom, respectively from left to right on the table.

To Add Data Columns:

  1. Click the + New Column option at the bottom.

  2. Select the new dropdown to scroll to see which options are available, or type to search for the data you're looking for.

  3. Click the Update button to save changes.

To see which Data columns are available, see below.

To Remove Data Columns:

  1. Click the X icon to the right of the attributes listed under the Data Columns header.

  2. Click the Update button to save changes.

Reset to Default

You can also Reset to the primary 5 defaults by clicking the Reset option to the right of the Data Columns header.

To Adjust the Order of Columns

  1. Click and drag the 6 Dots to the left of the attributes on the Data Columns list.

  2. Click the Update button to save changes.

Pro-Cerkler Tip: The changes you make to customize your table will be saved. If you leave the page or even sign out, when you come back, your settings will be the same as when you left them.


Metrics

Default Data

For the Blast Metrics table, you'll see the following fields by default:

Blast

Locked. Sticky Column

The name of the Blast, Send Date & Time, and a thumbnail preview image.

Delivered

The number of Blast sends reported as Delivered.

Unique Opens

The number of audience members who opened the Blast at least once.

For example, if an audience member opens a Blast 5 times, the Unique Opens will only be 1.

Unique Clicks

The number of audience members who clicked on any given link in a Blast. This only counts one click per audience member.

For example, if an audience member clicks 5 links in a Blast, the Unique Clicks will only be 1.

Open Rate

Percentage of Audience Members who opened the Blasts/Digests they received.

For example, if 2,000 people are delivered the Blast, and 1,800 of them opened it. The Blasts’ Open Rate is 90%.

Click-Thru Rate

The percentage of delivered Blasts that registered at least 1 click.

This is calculated by (Unique Clicks / Delivered) * 100.

For example, if 2,000 Audience Members received my Blast, and 300 of them clicked on at least one link within it. My Blast Click-Thru Rate would be 15%.

Blast Creator

The name of the team member who created, duplicated, or from template created the Blast.

Subject Line

The Subject Line is the line of the email that audience members will see in their inbox.

Campaigns

The list of Campaigns that a Blast has been added to.

Sender Profile

Sender Profile is the "From" email address that audience members will see in their inbox.

Targeted Segments

Targeted Segments are the Segments that you have selected to receive the Blast.

Total Opens

The total number of opens that an audience member has opened a Blast. This calculation includes multiple opens of a Blast.

For example, if an audience member opens a Blast 5 times the Total Opens will be 5 for that audience member.

Total Clicks

The total number of clicks that an audience member has clicked on in a Blast.

For example, if Content 1 is clicked on 2 times each by 500 audience members, then Content 1 has 1,000 Total Clicks.

Blast Creator

The name of the team member who created, duplicated, or created from Template a Blast.

Send From

The email address and name of an individual who your audience members will see as the "From" in their email.

Time Zone

The selected time zone of your Blast.

Targeted Categories

Categories and interests used for targeting within a Blast audience.

Bounces

Email addresses and names of audience members whose emails failed to deliver.

Spam Reports

Email addresses and names of audience members who reported the Blast as spam.

For the Blast Audience table, you'll see the following fields by default:

The number of Blasts delivered to a Subscriber over time.

Unique Opens

The number of Blasts that a Subscriber opened at least once.

Unique Clicks

The number of Blasts that a Subscriber clicked in at least once.

Open Rate

Percent of delivered Blasts that registered a Unique Open.

Click-Thru Rate

Percent of average clicks within a Blast.

Total number of audience members whose Blasts where not delivered.

Total number of audience members whose Blasts where marked as spam.
