In order for Content to reach your Subscribers, it must be Approved and Published by a Team Member with Approve Content permissions. Team Members with Create Content permissions can still create new Content, then Save as Draft, or Publish to the Queue where it will wait for Approval.

After Content is approved from the Drafts or Queue by an Approving Team Member, it will be moved to the Approved page.

πŸ’‘ Reminder: Review the Publish Date, Circulation End Date, and Expiration Date.

If Content has passed its Circulation End Date, the Content will not be sent in a News Digest or be available in channels outside of the Content Archive.

If passed the Expiration date, it will not be made available to Subscribers in any channel.

There are two ways for Team Members with permission to Approve and Publish Content in your queue.

From the Content Hub:

  1. Go to Content > Queue.

  2. Find the piece of Content you want to approve.

  3. Click the Check Mark icon under the story image to approve the Content. If you're using Expanded view, click the green Approve button under the Story Categories section.

From Content Editor:

  1. Go to Content > Queue or Drafts.

  2. Find the piece of Content you want to publish.

  3. Click the pencil icon under the story image to open the Content Editor.

  4. Click on the Publish Changes button (located in the upper right hand corner of the screen) to publish the Content.

To learn how to approve multiple pieces of Content at once, please review: How to Use Content Bulk Actions.
