Images can take your Blast to the next level, and we are here to walk you through the Image Element so you can get the most out of it.

To use the Image Element, click and drag the Element from the right side of your screen into the Blast Editor. You can ONLY release the Element where you see a blue line pop-up. If you release the Element without seeing that line, your Element will not be placed in your Blast.

Once the Element is placed, you can add an image by doing any of the following:

  • Click Browse to upload an image from your computer.

  • Click the upload box to select an image from your computer.

  • Paste an image URL in the text box under Import From URL to pull an image from the web.

Please Note: The recommended and max file sizes for images and GIFs are stated below.

  • When uploading an image from your computer, we recommend 500kb or less for the best quality images. This is because any images above this size will be compressed and may lose quality. The maximum image upload size is 1600kb.

  • Full-width-images should be a max of 600 pixels wide. That said, we do not have a limit for height, so you can make the image as tall as you would like.

  • The max file size for a GIF is currently 1000kb. When a GIF is cropped, it will lose its animation feature.

After you add your image, you will have the option to add Alt-Text to the image for ADA compliance. You can also link your image to a Web Address (URL), Email Address, or Phone Number. Finally, when hovering over the image in the Element editor, you will be given the option to crop your image.

Please Note: Once you have cropped your image, you will have to upload a new one to include parts of the image that you initially cropped out.
