Image Element Overview

Using the Image Element, Upload an Image, Image Size, Linking Images, Creating a Blast

Images can take your Blast to the next level, and we are here to walk you through the Image Element so you can get the most out of it.

Add A New Image

To use the Image Element, click the element or click and drag the Element from the right side of your screen into the Blast Editor.

Once the Element is placed, you can add an image by doing any of the following:

  • Click Image Gallery to browse images available in your Image Gallery.

  • Click Browse to upload an image locally from your computer.

  • Drag and Drop an Image into the Upload box.

  • Click the Upload box to select an image from your computer.

  • Click Import From URL to paste an Image URL and import an image from the web.

Accepted File Types:

  • .JPG, .PNG, .GIF

Accepted File Size:

  • Maximum: 1600KB

  • Recommended: 500KB

  • .GIF Maximum: 1000KB

Full-Width Images will be automatically resized when sending to be 600 pixels wide.

Edit Your Image Element

After you add your image, you will have the following options:

Add To Gallery

If this is a new image, you can click Add To Gallery to save the image for use in other Blasts.

View In Gallery*

If this image was added from the Image Gallery or already saved to the Image Gallery, you can select to View In Gallery to review details.

Edit Name

Click the Image Name to begin editing. By Default, Image Names and Alt-Text will be based on the uploaded filename.


Edit Alt-Text

Edit text which can be used to describe the image and adhere to ADA guidelines.

If you edit the Image Name and Alt-Text before you select to "Add To Gallery", the information input will be used for the image in the gallery.

If you edit the Image Name and Alt-Text after you select to "Add To Gallery", the information input will be Blast specific and will not update in the gallery.

Link To

Images can be linked to a Web Address (URL), Email Address, or Phone Number.

Crop your image

Hover your cursor over the image thumbnail in the Element editor to see the option to crop your image.
