Bounced email addresses are addresses that did not receive the email that was sent to them. Most of the time, a bounce occurs because the email address is non-existent.

Below is what happens when our system sends your News Digest or Blast to your Audience Members:

  • Email DOES exist: If the Audience Member's email address exists, the email will be delivered.

  • Email does NOT exist: If the Audience Member's email address does not exist, the email will bounce and the address will be moved to the Audience > Bounced page in your Instance.

Please Note: Our system does NOT bounce the email addresses. The addresses bounce because there is an issue with the address or the address inbox.

To learn why an email address has bounced, go to Audience > Bounced > look under the Bounce Reason column.
