You are just 5 minutes away from bringing a personalized SharePoint experience to your Cerkl Broadcast Audience Members.

If you are using SharePoint Online, it's super easy to bring Broadcast personalization to your site. Let's start by generating or updating your Intranet Notifications & Personalization code.

Get Code

To get your SharePoint Key, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations & Plugins.

  2. Click Intranet Notifications & Personalization.

  3. Make your design and placement selections.

  4. When your Launchpad looks how you'd like, click the Get Code button (located in the upper right hand corner of your screen).

  5. In the pop-up modal, click Copy Sharepoint Key. This will place the code SharePoint needs to link your account and content to our SharePoint app on your clipboard.

    Pro Tip: Feeling iffy about this part? Just paste it into Notepad for safekeeping.

Install

Head over to your SharePoint to get the Intranet Notifications and Personalization App installed.

You will need to find and install our app, Cerkl Broadcast for SharePoint, on your intranet. It's available free on the Microsoft AppSource.

Add to Page

Once the Cerkl Broadcast for SharePoint app is installed, you will need to do the following to add the Cerkl Broadcast web part to a SharePoint page:

  1. Locate and edit the page.

  2. Add a section.

  3. Edit your new section.

Locate and Edit the Page:

Locate which SharePoint page you'd like to add the Cerkl Broadcast web part to. Once you select your page, click Edit.

Add a Section:

Next, you are going to add a section. Where doesn't matter... the placement is decided back in Broadcast when you made your placement selections.

In your new section, you will select "Cerkl Broadcast for SharePoint" app.

Edit Your New Section:

Lastly, you are going to edit your new section so we can link up your SharePoint with your Cerkl Broadcast Instance. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the edit pencil.

  2. In the box that pops out, enter the Sharepoint Key that you got from Broadcast.

  3. Click Apply.

Wait 10-15 seconds and then, magic! Not bad for 5 minutes of work. Take a break, you deserve it.
