How to add some branding sparkle to your Intranet Notifications & Personalization.
We know how important getting the right message to the right employee is, so we created Broadcast Intranet Notifications & Personalization. With this easy to generate and install plugin, each identified intranet visitor gets a personalized newsfeed made up of the content you approved for them in Broadcast. Plus, the content alerts they need to see.
Adding your personal touch to this app is easy.
To start, go to Settings > Integrations & Plugins > click Intranet Notifications & Personalization.
Once on the Intranet Notifications & Personalization page, we have a few options for you to play with here: Launchpad, Theme Color, and Text.
As you personalize, you will see the Design Preview section of your page change. To see how the design adjustments you are making affect your plugin's appearance, be sure to also click on the launchpad bell in this preview.
Under the Launchpad drop-down, you can alter the following:
Position: The position of your personalization plugin on your site: Left or Right.
Size: The size of your personalization plugin on your site: Small, Standard, Large.
Side Spacing: The amount of spacing between your personalization plugin and the side of your screen.
Bottom Spacing: The amount of spacing between your personalization plugin and the bottom of your screen.
Under the Theme Color drop-down, you can alter the following:
Theme Color: Use the color picker or enter a hex code to change the theme color.
Under the Text drop-down, you can alter the following:
Primary Text: Use the color picker or enter a hex code to change the primary text color.
Secondary Text: Use the color picker or enter a hex code to change the secondary text color.
Underneath the Text section, you can also toggle Mobile Mode Preview ON if you would like to see how this launchpad will look on a mobile device.
When you are finished editing, don't forget to click Save.
Please Note: Some custom intranets might have style that overrides what you set in Broadcast. In that case, contact your intranet admin for help.
Once you have your app looking the way you like, you are ready to get the code to install it on your site.
To do this, click the Get Code button (located in the top right corner of your screen).
After you click Get Code, you will then see a pop-up modal with a few installation options for you: Copy Code or Copy Sharepoint Key.
If you have a custom intranet or an intranet provider that will allow you to put scripts in the header of your site, Copy Code is for you. This button will put the code needed to install Intranet Notifications & Personalization on your clipboard. Just paste that into a document and share it with your intranet admin.
If you are a SharePoint shop, Copy Sharepoint Key is for you. This is where you get the Sharepoint Key needed to link up Cerkl Broadcast and your SharePoint. To learn more about the installation process, check out this article.
