The Restrict Domains feature allows your organization to control the email domains that can be subscribed to your Broadcast Instance.

Settings for the Restrict Domains feature are available under Audience > Controls. This option is available for internal communication organizations only. If your organization settings support this feature, you can toggle Restrict Domains on or off. When toggled on, settings for which domains are allowed will be available.

Please Note: Sample Blasts are not restricted by this feature. Samples can be sent to email addresses outside the allowed domains set by your organization. For more info check out Send a Sample Blast.

Allowed Domains

When Restrict Domains is toggled on, you will see a list of the current domains that are allowed and the following columns:

Domain

Added email domains in your Broadcast Instance.

Count

The number of Subscribers in your Broadcast Instance with the listed email domain.

State

Shows whether or not a given domain can subscribe to your Broadcast Instance.

  • Allow: Enables email addresses from the listed domain to be subscribed to your Instance.

  • Remove: Disables the ability for email addresses from the listed domain to be subscribed to your Instance. Selecting this will unsubscribe Subscribers from your Instance with this email domain.

Add New Domain

To add a new domain, click the Add New Domain button. In the Add Domain prompt which will open, type the full web domain name you wish to add.

Click Add, and the domain will be added to the bottom of the Allowed Domains list. By default, the State will be set to Allow.

💾 Reminder: Click Save after making changes to keep the changes you've made.

Domain Actions

Review Email Addresses with the Domain

Click the domain name or the number listed under Count to view and search the names/emails included in this domain.

Change the State of a Domain

Click the drop-down arrow under State in the row of the domain you would like to edit.

If you change a State from Allow to Remove, all the Subscribers with that domain will be unsubscribed from your Broadcast Instance when you click Save.
