Broadcast Foundations accounts are able to use Cerkl Broadcast's Blasts, Audience, and Insights features with a free plan, allowing organizations to communicate with their audience when they need to.

Blasts are email messages sent to your audience via Broadcast to your organization's Subscribers. Blasts can be built using using drag and drop elements, pre-made templates, or via HTML uploads.

With Foundations, you are able to send 5,000 emails to your audience per month for free. You can view how many sends you have left per month by opening the Blast editor, going to Sending Info, and checking your Monthly Free Email Sends.

Example: If you send one Blast to 2,000 subscribers, that counts as 2,000 sends for the month, regardless of each Blast’s delivery status.

Once over the free monthly sends, the overage cost is applied to additional email sends (which will be reflected on an upcoming invoice). Overage Cost: $0.09/email. Blast samples are not included in this send count.

When you send over your free monthly sends, Admins in your account will receive an automated email alert.

Team Members are your fellow peers who are able to edit, create, and send content depending on their permissions that you have set. These Team Members can be viewed at any time in Settings > Team Members.

On a Foundations account, 3 Team Member seats are included for free. You can manage and view how many seats you're using from Settings > Team Members.

Once over your free seats, the overage cost is applied when additional Team Members accept their invite (which will be reflected on an upcoming invoice). Overage Cost: $75/month.

Example: If I have 3 Team Members who have been invited, and 2 of those have accepted their invite, that counts as 2 active Team Members.

When a Team Member accepts their invite and puts you over your free seats, Admins in your account will receive an automated email alert.

Foundations plans are set to automatically Auto-Renew every month, whether or not there are any costs. You can view this setting in Settings > Account and Billing and see your Monthly Subscription is turned on. Your Monthly Subscription does not have an end-date and will continue to renew every month.

Invoices are sent monthly with any costs incurred, including additional team members, additional Blast sends, and other add-ons. If you have an over-due invoice you will be presented an in-app warning.

You can toggle off your Monthly Subscription anytime from Settings > Account & Billing. This will set your subscription to stop at the end of the current month.

Ending your subscription will not automatically disable the ability to send until the account is frozen. If you want to disable sending, please set your account to Test Mode. For more information, please review: How Do I Change My Account to Live Mode/Test Mode?

Restricted Domains is a feature that allows only specific domains to be subscribed to your Broadcast instance. You can view this feature by going to Audience > Controls.

Foundations accounts have this setting is turned on by default and it cannot be turned off. There is a maximum limit of 1 domain per instance for Foundations accounts.
