How to Filter Your Audience

Audience Member, Filtering, Filter Audience, Export, Subscribers

If you want to view your audience in groups defined by certain factors, then filtering your audience is the way to go. You can filter by specific properties unique to each Audience category.

Filtering Subscribers

To filter your Subscribers, go to Audience > Subscribers, then click the +Filter button.

On this page, you can filter by relevant attribute columns that have been added to your table from the Edit Table menu. To learn more about adding and removing attribute columns to your Table and Filter options, please review this article: Customize Your Subscribers Table Columns.

By default, you'll see the following fields:

Segments

Those who are part of Manual and Dynamic Segments. You can also filter by Subscribers who are not part of any Segments by using the None filter.

The opt-in status of your Subscribers: Email Blasts Only, News Digests Only, or Email Blasts and News Digests.

Date Subscribed

The Date the subscriber was added to the instance.

Date Personalized

Whether or not a Subscriber has gone through the personalization process.

Privacy

Filter based on the Subscriber's personalized privacy settings.

After you select the option(s) you would like to Filter, click Apply to see the results.

You can also export the filtered list of Subscribers by clicking the Export button at the top right corner of the Audience table. For details on exporting Audience data, please review Exporting Your Audience To CSV.


Filtering Unsubscribes

To filter your Unsubscribes, go to Audience > Unsubscribed, then click the +Filter button in the top left.

By default, you'll see the following fields:

Subscribe date

Filter based on the date the Audience Member was added to your Audience. Select timeframes by typing the desired dates or using the calendar icon.

Unsubscribe date

Filter based on the date the Audience Member was unsubscribed to your Audience. Select timeframes by typing the desired dates or using the calendar icon.

Unsubscribed by

Filter based on a Search string to see how an Audience Member was unsubscribed.
Pro-tip: Search "integration" or "end user" to see which users were unsubscribed by your integration or by themselves.

Filtering Bounced

To filter your Unsubscribes, go to Audience > Bounced, click the +Filter button.

By default, you'll see the following fields:

Segment

Filter by the Segments which the Audience Member is include in.

Bounce Date

To filter by Bounce date, type the desired dates or use the calendar icon.

After you select the option(s) you would like to Filter, click Apply to see the results.
