Social Media, Social Links Settings

You can add links for your different social media platforms inside of Settings. Social Links will be shown on your Content Archive page, in the footers of your News Digests and Blasts (if Blast footers are toggled on), and you can use these links inside of the Social Links Element in Blasts.

Needless to say, it’s important to link your major social media platforms as they have the opportunity to be in front of your Subscribers multiple times.

To find to your Instance's social links, go to Settings > Social Links.

Any active social links will show up in their normal color and will have their URLs displayed below their icons. Light grey icons indicate which social links are deactivated.

📝 Reminder: Click Save in the top right corner of your screen to save changes.

Activate Social Links:

You can have only have 1 link for each option on the Social Links page. To activate a social link simply click on any deactivated social media icons you want to activate. The icon and a box appear in the active links list below.

Then, type or paste the link URL into the text box. Click the blue arrow next to the box to check the link (Clicking this arrow will open the link in another tab).

Click Save in the top right corner to save the changes made.

Please Note: When activated, the website URL will also be attached to the header photo on your Content Archive page.

Deactivate Social Links:

To deactivate a social link, simply click on the social media icon that you want to deactivate. This will remove the icon from the active links list and turn the icon light grey. Then, click the Save button (located in the top right corner of your screen) to save your changes.

Please Note: If you deactivate a social link, the URL for that social link will be deleted. If the changes are saved, you will need to re-enter the link if that social link is ever reactivated. Instead of saving, a simple refresh the page to revert to your last save, ensuring your deactivation is forgotten.
