Insights - Content Metrics

The Content Metrics table provides a high-level view of your organization's content performance and publishing activity. From this page, you can review key engagement metrics, dive into individual content pieces for more detailed information, apply filters to narrow your results, sort data, export table results, and customize your table layout. The sections below describe each available table column, filter option, sorting capability, and customization feature.

In the table, you will see the following:

Data Columns

The Content Metrics Table's first row is a Summary Row, providing a sum of the columns beneath, or an average (rate %) based on the Deliver/Open/Click totals.

Uniquely, the Audience Reach summary calculation is not a sum, but is instead based on the total number of Unique Audience Members within the data of that column.

By Default, the following columns are included on this table:

Details Included

Post

Locked. Sticky Column

The title of a piece of Content, the Publish Date, Story Image, and the current status.

You will see the following status icons in the ID column:

: Published and live within feeds

: Published and available on the Archive, but not circulating within feeds

: Expired post

: Deleted post

Click the name or Story image of the Content to dive deeper and view specific Content Metrics. For more information, please review:

Audience Reach

The number of unique subscribers who have an opportunity to log an impression through all available channels.

Total Impressions

The total number of views of content delivered via any Broadcast channel. This is counted whether or not they click on it.

Total Clicks

The total number of clicks of content delivered via any Broadcast channel. This indicates the percentage of Impressions that result in a click on a piece of Content in your Channels.

Click Rate

The percentage of Impressions that result in a click on a piece of Content in your Channels.

Add and Remove Columns

With the Edit Table button, you can easily add or remove these and additional Data columns. For more information, please review: Customize Your Content Insights Table Columns.

Search

You can search by post title.

Filter

Date Filter

The Date Filter is based on when subscriber engagement occurred. Most reporting data is available for up to 18 months from the current date.

+Filter

Regardless of the columns enabled on your table, these are the +Filter options you will see:

  • Targeted Segments: Segments used for targeting (restriction or interest) within Content distribution settings.

  • Campaigns: Campaigns assigned to Content pieces.

  • Targeted Categories: Categories/interests used for targeting Content pieces.

  • Content Creator: The creator of the Content pieces.

  • Priority: The posting priority of the Content pieces.

  • Content Type: The type of Content piece.

  • Authors: The author of the Content pieces.

  • Source: The title of the source for Content that came in from an RSS feed.

  • Push Alert: Whether or not a mobile push alert was set for the Content pieces.

  • Channel: The channel-specific data you want to view.

Sort

When enabled on the table, all of the following columns are sortable:

Post (Publish Date), Audience Reach, Total Impressions, Total Clicks, Click Rate, Content Type, Circulation End Date, Expiration Date, Source, Priority, Pinned Until, Restricted, Author, Push Alert, Advocacy

Export

You can export all displayed columns on your table.
