In this article we are going to cover the layout options in all the elements inside of the Blast editor. We have grouped multiple elements together because there are many Layout options that overlap for each element so we will start with the layout options that all elements have then move into element specific ones.

General Layout Options:

Alignement

When it comes to alignment you have the option to align elements vertically and horizontally.

The buttons on the left allow you to move your content to the top, center or bottom of the container. While the ones on the right allow you to move the content to the left, center or right side of the container.

Container Style

The container is that box highlighted in blue that your element is located in. You can change the:

  • Background color of the container with the color picker by selecting one of you organization's default colors or inputting a hex code for a color of your choice.
  • Top/Bottom - allows you to set the top and bottom margins of the container with the plus and minus buttons
  • Left/Right - allows you to set the left and right margins of the container with those same plus and minus buttons

Image and Video Layout Options

There are two important layout options you have with these two elements.

  1. Image Width - Here you can use the slider to select how wide you would like your image to be. Please Note: That images that are not 100% width might look different in the Blast if it is viewed on a mobile device. This is due to smaller screen size and condensed format of the Blast. To avoid this turn on Full width on mobile
  2. Full width on mobile - This feature keeps your images at full width when viewed on mobile even if the image width inside of the Blast editor is set to a percentage less than that.

Signature Element Layout Options

There are the three stand out layout options to cover in the Signature Element:

  1. Text Color - Here you have the option to change the color of the text used in the signature. The text can be changed with the color picker where you can either select one of your organization's six default or you can input a hex code for a color of your choice.
  2. Image Width - Here you can use the slider to select how wide you would like your image to be. Please Note: That images that are not 100% width might look different in the Blast if it is viewed on a mobile device. This is due to smaller screen size and condensed format of the Blast. To avoid this turn on Full width on mobile
  3. Full width on mobile - This feature keeps your images at full width when viewed on mobile even if the image width inside of the Blast editor is set to a percentage less than that.

Divider Element Layout Options

  • Use Line - This gives you the option to select if a line will appear inside of the divider
  • Thickness - The plus and minus toggles allow you to select the thickness of the line inside of the divider
  • Line color - Here you can choose the color of the line. You can select from your default colors or input a hex code of a color of your choice
  • Background Color - Here you can choose the color of the container. You can select from your default colors or input a hex code of a color of your choice
  • Top/Bottom - Edit the size of the top and bottom margins of the container with the plus and minus toggles
  • Left/Right - Lets you use the plus and minus toggles to edit the length of the line

Button Element Layout Options

The Button Element has some standout layout options as well:

  • Button Color - You can change the color of the button by using the color picker to select on of your default organizational colors or you can input a hex code for a color of your choice
  • Button Text Color - You can change the color of the button text the same as changing the color of the button. You can use the color picker to select one of your organization's default colors or you can input a hex code to choose one of your choice.
  • Top/Bottom - You have the option to control the height of the button using the plus and minus toggles
  • Left/Right - You have the ability to control the width of the button using the plus and minus toggles
  • Rounded Corners - Here you can choose how round the corners of your button are inside of your Blast. You can do this using the plus and minus toggles choosing if the corners are square or not. Please Note: Rounded corners on buttons will not show up inside of Outlook. This is due to how they interpret the HTML code inside of emails and how they style their text.
