Blast Elements, Using Tables, Creating a Blast

You are able to add tables to your Blasts using the Text Element. For more detailed instructions on how to do so, follow the steps below.

Adding a Table

To add a table to your Blast:

  1. Open Blast Editor.

  2. Drag and drop or click to add a Text Element into your Blast.

  3. In the second row of Text Element icons, click the table icon (first icon in the second row).

  4. Once you click this icon, you can choose the number of rows and columns you want in your table.

  5. You can then add your text to the cells and alter the styling options just like you would with any text in the Text Element. You can preform any of the table actions listed below.

Table Icons

If you click on a cell inside your table, the following icons will appear.

  1. Table Header: Clicking this icon will add/remove a table header above your first row of cells.

  2. Remove Table: Clicking this icon will remove your ENTIRE table from the Text Element.

    Please Note: There is no confirmation pop-up when you click this icon. Your table will be deleted after you click this icon.

  3. Row: If you click this icon, you will be given the following three options:

    1. Insert row above: The will insert a row ABOVE the one you are currently clicked on.

    2. Insert row below: The will insert a row BELOW the one you are currently clicked on.

    3. Delete row: Clicking this icon will remove the ENTIRE row you are currently clicked on from the Text Element.

      Please Note: There is no confirmation pop-up when you click this icon. Your row will be deleted after you click Delete row.

  4. Column: If you click this icon, you will be given the following three options:

    1. Insert column before: The will insert a column BEFORE (to the left of) the one you are currently clicked on.

    2. Insert column after: The will insert a column AFTER (to the right of) the one you are currently clicked on.

    3. Delete column: Clicking this icon will remove the ENTIRE column you are currently clicked on from the Text Element.

      Please Note: There is no confirmation pop-up when you click this icon. Your column will be deleted after you click Delete column.

  5. Table Style: Currently cannot be used.

  6. Cell: Below are the options you will see, depending on how many cells you are currently clicked on:

    1. More than one cell:

      1. Merge cells: This will combine all the cells you have selected into one cell.

    2. Only one cell:

      1. Vertical split: This will add a vertical divider in the middle of the cell you are currently clicked on.

      2. Horizontal split: This will add a horizontal divider in the middle of the cell you are currently clicked on.

  7. Cell Background: If you click this icon, you will see color options you can select from, or you can enter a HEX code to change the background color of the cell(s) you are currently clicked on.

  8. Vertical Align: If you click this icon, you will be given VERTICAL text alignment options for the text inside the cells: Top, Middle, Bottom.

  9. Horizontal Align: If you click this icon, you will be given HORIZONTAL text alignment options for the text inside the cells: Align Left, Align Center, Align Right, Align Justly.

  10. Cell Style: Currently cannot be used.

Table Actions

Add Line Break

Line Break ABOVE:

  • If your table is all the way at the top of your Text Element and you want to add a line break above the table, click off of the table and hover over the top row > click the line break icon that appears to add a space above your table where you can type.

Line Break BELOW:

  • If you want to add a line break below your table inside your Text Element, perform one of the following options:

    • Click below your table and press enter on your keyboard.

    • Hover over the bottom row in your table > click the line break icon that appears.

Change Column Width

If you would like to change the width of one of your columns, hover over the side of the column you would like to alter and a cursor with two arrows will appear > click and drag the column from right to left to change it to the size you would like.
