Manage Your Audience
In Audience, you’ll find all the tools you need to start reaching subscribers via Broadcast.
As a Foundations plan, support for adding Audience Members is limited to your own domain. Other Cerkl Broadcast plans support unlimited email address domains.
1. Audience Tables
In Subscribers, Unsubscribes, and Bounced: use filters and search to find people, view details and attributes, update individuals, or make bulk changes. You can also export your entire list or portions into a spreadsheet.
2. Add Subscriber + Import List
These options allow you to add audience members so you can begin communicating with them. You can add one subscriber, or go to Import List to upload a file.
Click Import List to Continue.
3. Data Template
This file shows how to format your audience data in a .csv or .txt file (UTF-8 encoding is recommended). Learn about Accepted Fields below. Email is the only required column in a manual import.
4. Upload Your File
Browse or drop in your file, and we’ll validate it and let you know if there are errors that need correcting. Watch out for spaces within or after email addresses. The import tool will walk you through the rest.
5. Manual Import History
Here, access your Queue to check import progress, and find information about past imports.
6. Segments
You may know them as distribution lists (or DLs if you’re hip), but we lovingly call them Segments. Use them to target your comms to the right people.
We’ll focus another article solely on creating Segments, and you’ll make one as part of your Discover checklist. 💪
Import Your Subscribers
Time to bring your people into Broadcast. Prepare your .csv file with at least a column of emails, and drop it into the Import tool. We’ll let you know via email when it completes.
