As most of you are aware, once a subscriber has chosen to opt-out (unsubscribe) from your automated newsletter, you legally cannot reach back out to them (via CAM-SPAM Act).
So, we've come up with a way to save you from seeing those dreaded unsubscribes!
When one of your subscribers doesn't engage (open or click) with any of your newsletters delivered to them within a three-month period, Cerkl will automatically review & reset their delivery frequency, in hopes of saving their inbox and finding the most optimal time to reach them.
For example, Sally has a default delivery frequency of weekly on Tuesdays at 2pm EST. In the last three months, she hasn't opened or clicked on a single newsletter from you.... (we know, that stinks but let's try to fix that!) After that three month time period, Cerkl will automatically adjust Sally's delivery frequency to every other week, in an attempt to re-engage her.
If three more months go by and Sally still hasn't opened or clicked any additional newsletter, her frequency will again be adjusted to every 3 weeks.
To access this feature, head to your Settings > Automated Email > Other Settings > Auto Adjust Frequency:
Pro Tip: We highly suggest keeping this feature turned 'On' as we have a much lower unsubscribe rate vs. the national average (woohoo!!) We assume that if your subscribers haven't opened your newsletters in three months, they aren't necessarily wanting to engage with your content at such a high frequency.
