The terms for both the Blast Metrics and Audience pages are listed in alphabetical order below:

Audience

Blast Volume

The average number of Blasts delivered to your Audience Members per day.

Blast Volume = (Delivered / # of days).

EX: If 7 Blasts were delivered to your Audience Members during the last two weeks (14 days), the Blast volume would be .5 Blasts per day.


Click Rate

The unique rate that Audience Members who opened a Blast clicked the links inside of it.

Click Rate = (Unique Clicks / Unique Opens) * 100.

EX: If 500 Audience Members open a Blast, and 200 of them clicked on links inside that Blast, the click rate would be 40%.


Delivered

The number of Blasts that were successfully delivered (and not bounced) to each Audience Member.

EX: If 100 Blasts were sent to your Audience Members and 5 of them bounced, there would be 95 Blasts delivered.


Open Rate

The percentage of Audience Members that open their Blasts when they receive them.

Open Rate = (Unique Opens / Delivers) * 100.

EX: If 1,000 Audience Members received a Blast and only 200 of them opened their Blasts, the open rate would be 20%.


U. Clicks (unique clicks)

Counts ONLY the first time an Audience Member clicks inside a Blast.

EX: If an Audience Member clicks on the link inside a Blast 3 times, there will be 1 unique click recorded since they clicked on the link.


U. Opens (unique opens)

Counts ONLY the first time a Audience Member opens a Blast.

EX: If an Audience Member opens Blast “A” 3 times and Blast “B” 4 times, 2 unique opens will be recorded since they opened both Blasts.


Metrics

Click Rate

The unique rate that Audience Members who opened a Blast clicked the links inside of it.

Click Rate = (Unique Clicks / Unique Opens) * 100.

EX: If there are 500 unique opens for a Blast, and there were 200 unique clicks on links inside that Blast, the click rate would be 40%.


Clicks

The number of times an Audience Member clicks inside of a Blast.

EX: If an Audience Member clicks on 3 links inside of a Blast, they will record 3 clicks.


Del. (delivers)

The number of Blasts that were delivered to the Audience Members’ emails.

EX: If 100 Blasts were sent and 5 of them bounced, there would be 95 Blasts delivered.


Open Rate

The percentage of Audience Members that open their Blasts when they receive them.

Open Rate = (Unique Opens / Delivers) * 100.

EX: If 1,000 Audience Members received a Blast and only 200 of them opened their Blasts, the open rate would be 20%.


Opens

The total number of times a Blast was opened.

EX: If I open Blast “A” 5 times and Blast “B” 2 times, 6 opens will be recorded.


Sent

The number of Blasts that were sent to the Audience Members' emails.

EX: If 100 Blasts were sent and 5 of them bounced, there would be 100 Blasts sent.


U. Clicks (unique clicks)

Counts ONLY the first time an Audience Member clicks on anything within a Blast.

EX: If I click on the link inside a Blast 3 times, there will be 1 unique click recorded since I clicked on the link.


U. Opens (unique opens)

Counts ONLY the first time an Audience Member opens a Blast.

EX: If I open Blast “A” 3 times and Blast “B” 4 times, 2 unique opens will be recorded since I opened both Blasts.
