Explaining Custom Links
Adding custom links allows Subscribers to access different webpages from inside the Cerkl Broadcast App.
Inside the App, custom links will appear under the hamburger menu (three-stacked-lines icon, located in the top left corner of the mobile screen). When you click the link title (i.e. Help Desk in the gif shown above), you will be taken directly from the App to the linked webpage.
📝 Reminder: Click Save in the top right corner of your screen to save changes.
Updating Custom Links
To update your custom links, from your Organization's Instance Settings > Mobile > Settings and scroll down to Custom Links. Here you can add a custom link and toggle individual links ON or OFF.
To ADD a Custom Link, click the blue Add New button > give the source a title > copy the url > make sure the Enable Link in App toggle is ON > click Add.
The title you give your link will be what Subscribers see in the Mobile App. Clicking the given title in the Mobile App will take the Subscriber to the linked source.
Once you add a custom link, you will have all of the options below for each individual custom link:
Remove: Click the red trash can icon to the right of the link title > click Yes.
Edit: Click the blue pencil icon to the right of the link title > edit the information you would like > click Update.
Toggle On/Off: There are two ways to toggle an individual link ON (visible in the Mobile App) or OFF (not visible in the Mobile App):
Click the toggle button to the left of the link title.
Click the blue pencil icon to the right of the link title > click the toggle button to the left of Enable Link in App > click Update.
After any changes are made, be sure to click Save in the top right corner of the screen.
Please Note: The maximum character limit for Custom Link URLs is 512 characters.
