If a subscriber would like to leave a comment on content that you pull into Cerkl from outside sources, then commenting ability is up to the host of that content. However, you have the option to enable or disable comments on content that is curated within Cerkl.

Enabling or Disabling Comments Within Cerkl Content

To enable or disable comments when initially publishing a story, go to Organizational Drop Down Menu > Content Manager, then, on the left side of the page > Publish Story, Publish Event, or Publish Need (The red, blue, or green icons on the left side of the page, the same place you go when creating content).

While in publish, select distribution settings >

> Comments & Aptly > Allow Comments

How to Disable Comments After an Article has Been Approved

To enable or disable contents on an already published post, go to Organizational Drop Down Menu > Content Manager, then find the story you want to enable or disable comments on, and select the purple pencil below the story image.

This will take you to the page where you can edit the post. Scroll down to comments, where you may enable or disable comments

How Comments Will be Attributed to a Subscriber

When a subscriber comments on a post, how will their name appear next to their comment?

If you have the names of each subscriber, the name will appear alongside the comment. If you have no names, then the user’s email minus the @company.com will appear. For example, if the email is John_Doe@company.com, the username will be “John_Doe.”
