Is there any delay in seeing info within the Insights Navigation?

Data is collected in Analytics in real time, but there could be a delay when syncing Broadcast data/showing it in Insights (e.g. unsubscribe event, new communications, segment changes, etc.).

This time could vary depending on how long it takes clouder services to process changes, but typically you'll see data/information populate within 5 minutes.


What time zone is used for Insights data?

Data presented within Insights (Beta) is organized based on the following timeframe:

  1. Data presented within 90 days is in the user’s browser time.

  2. Data after 90 days is presented in UTC.


How does data reporting work when a Subscriber updates to a privacy level that does not report metrics?

Within Insights (Beta), data reporting is based on the Subscriber’s current privacy level. This means that if a Subscriber changes to a privacy level that doesn’t report insights data, that would not impact already collected/displayed data. Going forward, however, their future activity will no longer be tracked/displayed within Insights (Beta) - unless they change their privacy level again.

NOTE: Blast email metrics are slightly different. If the Subscriber was set to a privacy level that does not track metrics when the email was sent, changing their privacy level won’t start showing their metrics for that already sent email. This is because privacy level is tied to the email Blast as a whole.
