Many organizations utilize firewalls and mail security tools in place to help protect from cyber attacks. Allowlisting IP addresses of incoming emails allows your team to trust emails coming from Broadcast.

Every Cerkl account is assigned a unique profile, and each profile is either assigned to a dedicated and unique IP address, or as a Foundations account, assigned as part of an IP address pool.

The steps required to allow-list an email are different for every application and service. In order to set up IP Address Allow Lists, please partner with or share the information with your organization's IT or primary technical contact to implement these configurations on your email server.

To get started, go to Settings > Configurations > Security.

  1. Click Add Sending IP Addresses to Allow List to expand the section.

  2. Click Copy All to copy to your clioboard.

  3. Share with your IT team or primary technical primary contact.

If multiple IP Addresses are listed, this means you're a part of a shared IP Pool, meaning emails sent from Broadcast will use one of these IP addresses. There is no guarantee which IP address an individual email will be sent through. In order to allowlist the email, all IP addresses should be allowlisted.
